What is Anadrol?

Anadrol, also known as oxymetholone or anapolone, is perhaps the most powerful oral anabolic steroid. Originally produced to treat anemia, breast cancer, and for weight loss in AIDS and osteoporosis, the drug gained popularity among bodybuilders. Due to its strong anabolic properties and its ability to increase red blood cell production, Anadrol is successfully used as a medication. Athletes, on the other hand, prefer it because of its water retention in the body, which helps build mass and “lubricate” joints, which increases strength and helps with pain-free training. Water retention allows for greater elasticity and reduces the chance of injury when training with heavier weights.
